Plastic Extrusion Machine
Assistant
Description
Applicant
will work along machine operator to assist in daily production.
Applicant will stand most of an 8 hour shift. Applicant must provide
proof of legal work status and provide a pre-employment drug screen.
Position is open for all 3 shifts Days, Swing, and Grave Yard.
Applicant must have reliable transportation and have a drivers
license.
Finish Carpenter
Description
Applicant will have 5 years experience as final finish residential
carpenter. Duties will include: moldings, interior doors, chair
rails, closets, stairways, and other finish work. Applicant must be
able to work unsupervised and be a self starter, work from plans and
drawings and have a general overall understanding of construction
industry.
Requirements
Applicant
must provide own hand tools: Hammer, tape, square, and belt.

Carpenter
Description
Many great Construction Opportunities. General Labor to skilled
construction workers. Workers will work in various sub industries
too include custom home building, modular building manufacturing and
manufactured home construction.
Workers will work in various positions too include:
Framing, Finish and Rough In Work
Concrete
Electrical
Drywall
Siding
And others that incorporate the above type of building.
Positions are Long Term Full Time. Some may be seasonal but most are
temporary to hire positions.
All skill levels will be considered. Positions are located in the
greater Salem and surrounding area. We have too many positions to

Requirements
Applicants must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must
be able to read and write English, be familiar with construction
sites, read a tape measure.

Construction Residential
Manufactured Homes
Description
Position is located in Salem OR on a
local Bus route. Position is M-F 7-4
No Experience necessary.
Building and assembling Manufactured Homes. All phases open, from
rough to finish and everything in-between.
Requirements
Required: Must be able to lift 75 pounds on a regular to frequent
basis. Must have own hand tools including Hammer, Tape Measure,
Utility Knife and belt. Must be able to read a Tape Measure to 1/8th
inch.
All Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Position pays $7.80 per hour to start. Many positions are available.
Green Veneer Offbearing
Description
Position is Green Veneer Off-bearing/Green Chain. Workers will
select, pull and stack sheets of green veneer at client’s location.
Veneer sheets are varied in width and grade. Workers will determine
grade and stack in appropriate bin. No experience necessary.
Requirements
Position is Part time on call, Day and Swing Shifts. Workers will be
able to manipulate up to 30lbs on a regular and frequent basis.
Prolonged standing is required and position although not heavy is
physically demanding. The positions are primarily for the summer
time, therefore, those in high school and college are encouraged to
apply. Workers can expect to work at least 24 hours per week.
$12.00 per hour for Day Shift and $12.50 for Swing Shift.

call" type environment.

HVAC
Install Helper
Description
Entry Level HVAC residential new construction install helper. Ideal
candidate will have prior basic construction experience. Work will
be preformed as a helper installing heating, air and other air
exchange units in new construction.
Applicants will perform a variety of duties including cutting
shearing using metal snips to make runs of duct.
Client will train no formal HVAC experience necessary. Positions pay
$9.00 per hour to start.
Requirements
Applicants must have valid clean drivers license. Applicant should
have prior construction experience but not required. Successful
applicants will have their own basic hand tools including hammer,
tape, knife and belt.
Applicants will provide a negative pre-employment drug screen and
provide proof of legal work status. Applicants will be able to
manipulate 50 lbs on a frequent to regular basis. Position is full
time with potential of hire over by client location.

Modular
Building Manufacturing
Description
Position is at a Modular Building Manufacture Construction.
Successful applicants will have basic to several years’ construction
experience.
Applicants will have various skills including: ability to read a
tape measure to 1/16th inch. Basic building skills, how to use a
hammer, powered tools, rip saws, nail guns and other.
Applicants will be able to follow directions from supervisors, and
work in a safe and efficient manor. Applicants will be subject to a
basic skills test prior to being submitted to client location for
interview. Positions start at $9-$10.00 per hour DOE but can be
higher with more experience.
Requirements
Applicants will have verifiable experience as a carpenter.
Applicants must have their own hand tools: hammer, tape, knife,
belt. Applicants must pass a skills test prior to submitting to the
client location. Skills test is comprised of basic math. Applicants
must be able to successfully read a tape measure to 1/16th of an
inch.
Applicants should have a valid drivers license. Applicants will
provide a negative pre-employment drug test and be legal to work in
the USA. Applicants should not have criminal history in the past 3
years, and should be discussed on a case-by-case basis with
interview at BDI Staffing.
