Green Chain Veneer Off Bearing

This position is located in the Willamina area. We are looking to fill an “On Call” position, and we have several openings.

The ideal candidate will have prior mill experience, strong finger dexterity, and the ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.

Wage is $12-12.50 Days/Swing.

Food Products Production Workers 

Ideal candidate will have prior experience with GMP, sanitation, and other food products specific training.

Positions are in processing area and will start out on Day shift 6:00 a.m. and then transition to Grave Yard starting at 10:00 p.m.

Candidates must read/write English as the positions requires frequent documentation during the production process.

Description
Many great Construction Opportunities. General Labor to skilled construction workers. Workers will work in various sub industries too include custom home building, modular building manufacturing and manufactured home construction.
Workers will work in various positions too include:
Framing, Finish and Rough In Work
Concrete
Electrical
Drywall
Siding
And others that incorporate the above type of building.
Positions are Long Term Full Time. Some may be seasonal but most are temporary to hire positions.
All skill levels will be considered. Positions are located in the greater Salem and surrounding area. We have too many positions to list individually.

Requirements
Applicants must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to read and write English, be familiar with construction sites, read a tape measure.
Applicants further, should have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. They should have their own basic hand tools and tool knowledge.
Applicants must be able to provide a negative pre-employment drug screen and also provide proof of legal work status.

Modular Building Manufacturing                          

Description
Position is at a Modular Building Manufacture Construction. Successful applicants will have basic to several years’ construction experience.
Applicants will have various skills including: ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th inch. Basic building skills, how to use a hammer, powered tools, rip saws, nail guns and other.
Applicants will be able to follow directions from supervisors, and work in a safe and efficient manor. Applicants will be subject to a basic skills test prior to being submitted to client location for interview. Positions 10.50 per hour to DOE.

Saw Shop- Experience producing "Cut List" for a builder is very helpful.

Siding Installer- Hardie Plank and panel install, prior experience in siding helpful.

Finish Carpenters- All aspects of "finish" Carpentry. Flooring, trim, cabinet install etc.

Cabinet Maker/Installer- Prior experience with kitchen/bath cabinets very helpful.

Warehouse- Material handler warehouse person. Prior experience needed for warehouse person.

Requirements
Applicants will have verifiable experience as a carpenter. Applicants must have their own hand tools: hammer, tape, knife, belt. Applicants must pass a skills test prior to submitting to the client location. Skills test is comprised of basic math. Applicants must be able to successfully read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
Applicants should have a valid drivers license. Applicants will provide a negative pre-employment drug test and be legal to work in the USA. Applicants should not have criminal history in the past 3 years, and should be discussed on a case-by-case basis with interview at BDI Staffing.

Kitchen/Bath Cabinet builder

BDI Staffing is currently accepting applications for Cabinet Manufacturing. Positions located west of Salem approximately 20 minutes. These are full time long-term positions. All interested must apply in person with a resume to BDI Staffing. (See FAQ's about applying)

Requirements: must have reliable transportation to/from the client location. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and handle standing in one location for extended periods of time. Must be able to work in a potentially nosey and dusty environment for extended periods of time.
